FAGI-PD

projects

FAGI-PD is an intelligent gait analysis platform for Parkinson’s disease screening and management, built on our research published in npj Digital Medicine (Nature Portfolio). The work also received a dedicated editorial commentary, a distinction awarded to only a small number of papers each year, highlighting both its academic impact and clinical relevance.

Users only need to upload smartphone-recorded gait videos. The platform then automatically performs video segmentation, gait parameter analysis, and AI-assisted Parkinson’s risk assessment. Longitudinal records are stored in a patient workspace for trend tracking and data export. By integrating large language models, FAGI-PD also provides interpretable summaries of historical parameter changes and follow-up recommendations, improving both early identification and long-term management efficiency.
