Voice agent is a full-duplex, real-time interface for hospital appointment workflows, allowing natural voice interaction with immediate turn-taking and interruption without losing task state. Instead of rigid push-to-talk steps, the system supports continuous conversational flow while keeping patient context and scheduling state synchronized in the background.
Backed by an LLM connected to patient context and scheduling tools, it supports booking lookup, routing, and follow-up coordination through a single conversational workflow. The interaction model is interruptible by design, so users can barge in, redirect the exchange, or stop an in-progress response while the backend continues to manage appointment operations in real time.
